Self-registration of the client and display of the METRO cash and carry catalog.
Using Infovision interactive hardware, an automatic client registration system was implemented, which allows instantly entering customer information into the database with the subsequent mechanics of printing a temporary card on a thermal printer.
The implementation of the project removed the burden from the supermarket staff due to:
- Quick issuance of a temporary card
- Automatic transfer of customer data from a paper questionnaire to the database
- No queue to the registration desk
At a time when users do not interact with the terminal, information content from the METRO catalog is displayed on an interactive screen. After touching the screen (click), an interactive directory opens with a subscription form. When the user enters his email address, the system captures it in the subscribers database and generates a letter with a link to the electronic version of the catalog.
